Millstone Hill is conveniently located in the heart of Vermont, at the crossroads of I-89, US Route 302, US Route 2, Vermont Route 110 and Vermont Route 14. We are less than an hour from Burlington, Stowe, Waitsfield and Woodstock, and just over an hour from Kingdom Trails, Rutland and Killington. We are just 2 hours from Montreal, three hours from Boston and just over 5 hours from New York City.

From Boston and Southern New Hampshire

  • Take I-89 North to Exit 6.
  • Follow route 63 toward Barre for about 4 miles.
  • At the traffic light at the bottom of the hill, go straight up Middle Rd. towards the granite quarries for one mile.
  • At the Rock of Ages Visitors Center Middle Rd. merges with and becomes Graniteville Rd.
  • Continue on Graniteville Rd. through the village of Graniteville, turning left at the curve just after Rock of Ages.
  • About a half mile beyond the curve in the village, turn left onto Church Hill Rd. following the signs for Rt.302/Rt. 110.
  • Continue up then down Church Hill Rd. about 1 mile to Websterville Village.
  • The Touring Center is inside the Millstone Hill Country Store on the left. It’s right across from the Websterville Post Office, and just below Lawson’s Store. Look for the yellow historic general store building with flags hanging from it. Parking is on the left, just below the store.

From Montreal and Burlington

  • Take I-89 South to Exit 7.
  • Follow the signs to Barre, then turn right onto Main Street / Route 302 East.
  • Continue 4 miles to the start of Route 110, at the Village of East Barre.
  • Turn right at the rotary onto Rt. 110, then immediately right off of Rt. 110 onto Mill St. going into the village of East Barre. At the stop sign a few hundred feet ahead, turn right onto Websterville Rd. Follow Websterville Rd. about one mile to the first left turn, Gregoire St. At the top of Gregoire St. go straight onto Church Hill Rd. The Touring Center is the second building on the right, the historic yellow general store building with all the flags hanging from it. Parking is in the lot on the right, just before you reach the store itself.

From Maine and Northern New Hampshire

  • Take US Route 302 East to East Barre.
  • Turn left onto Route 110, then follow the directions above.

From Southern Vermont, Western Massachusetts, Connecticut and New

  • Take I-91 North to I-89, then take exit 6.
  • Follow the directions for Boston above.
